Who can apply from the UK

You need valid residence status in the UK, shown by a residence permit card or your UKVI status printout. Estonia's checklists ask for your share code plus the status printout.

Your UK residence must stay valid for at least one month after you leave the Schengen area.

Estonia must be your main destination. If you go on to other Schengen countries, bring your travel schedule and proof of those plans.

You can use any of the five VFS centres. Estonia's foreign ministry says you normally apply in your country of residence.

BRPs have been replaced by eVisas. Estonia asks for your share code plus a status printout, valid at least one month after you leave the Schengen area.

Where do I apply for an Estonia visa in the UK?

At VFS Global in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham or Cardiff. The Birmingham-area centre moved to Smethwick on 27 July 2026.

How long does an Estonia visa take from the UK?

Estonia gives 15 calendar days, counted from the Thursday after your appointment, and up to 45 days if more checks are needed. Add 2 to 3 working days outside London.

How much is an Estonia Schengen visa from the UK?

The visa fee is €90 for adults and €45 for children aged 6 to 11. Children under 6 pay nothing. VFS adds a £10.35 service fee.

Do my UK documents need an apostille for an Estonia visa?

Yes. Estonia's checklists say documents issued in the UK must be certified with an apostille.

Will my passport be stamped when I enter Estonia?

No. Since 10 April 2026 the EU's Entry/Exit System records your entries and exits digitally instead of stamping your passport. As a visa holder, the system stores a photo of your face taken at the border; your fingerprints are already on file from your visa application.

Can I visit other Schengen countries on an Estonia visa?

Yes. A Schengen visa covers all 29 Schengen countries for up to 90 days in any 180, as long as Estonia is your main destination.
